Helen Wenham
My Professional background
Prior to the merger with Attwaters in November 2019, my entire legal career was spent with Stafford Young Jones, commencing in 1986 as an articled clerk before qualifying as a solicitor, then a partner. I finally reverted to an employed solicitor so that I could concentrate on looking after my clients, which is the reason I entered the profession.
I specialise in residential conveyancing and property law related matters, acting for private individuals, corporate bodies, charities and trustees of landed estates. I very much enjoy the close working relationship built up with clients over the course of a conveyancing transaction.
About Me
I like most food but particularly enjoy the Mediterranean diet. My favourite drink is Kir Royale (on special occasions). In my spare time I enjoy binge watching and have developed a Christmas tradition of tackling a large and difficult jigsaw puzzle (must be a wooden one!). I have needle phobia but otherwise have no fears. I am content with my own company and would enjoy life on a desert island, but a man Friday would be useful – Luke Grimes would do very well!
