My Professional Background
I began my legal career a little later in life. After having my son, I joined a local law firm and trained for four years to qualify as a Legal Executive, specialising in civil litigation.
I first joined Attwaters in 2009, working initially in the Clinical Negligence department before moving to the Dispute Resolution team, where I remained for many years. After a period away from the firm to pursue other opportunities, I am delighted to be re-joining Attwaters now as a Legal Assistant back in the Dispute Resolution team.

About me
I was born in Harlow and have lived locally all my life. I’m a proud mum to my son and now a very proud grandma too.
In 1999, I joined the Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford – a community-focused group of professionals who support projects both locally and internationally. I was honoured to be the Club’s first female member and to serve a term as President.
I love cooking and enjoy most cuisines, with a particular fondness for Mediterranean food. My choice of drink varies depending on mood, season or occasion. If I were ever stranded on a desert island, I would take my dog without hesitation – he’s a loyal companion, a great listener, always happy to see me, and asks for nothing more than a cuddle, a walk, and the occasional Scooby snack.
