My Professional Background

Prior to joining Attwaters, I worked as a Paralegal for Essex County Council’s legal services team. During this time, I gained experience in litigation as well as providing advice in relation to the assessment of charges for care fees and how local authorities assess the charging and recovery of these in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014.

It was here that I began undertaking my SQE but I then completed my training a local Legal 500 firm and I qualified as a Solicitor in February 2024. This career move gave me a strong grounding in the administration of estates, Inheritance Tax advice, the preparation of Trusts, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

I joined Attwaters in July 2026 as a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team.

What I enjoy most about my job is building meaningful relationships with my clients and being able to guide them through an incredibly difficult period of their life.

Achievements / Accreditations

I studied Law at the Anglia Ruskin University, where I achieved a First-class Honours degree. I am also a Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and am currently working towards full accreditation.

About me

I was born and raised in Hertfordshire but later relocated to Essex with my parents and sister.

Outside of work I enjoy eating Indian food, accompanied by a glass of wine. I also enjoy horse riding and spending time with my family and friends.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a hairdresser. If anyone had told me that I would end up being a Solicitor, I would have laughed out loud considering I was never particularly academic!

I have a phobia of heights and, despite sky diving being the latest craze, I will be keeping my feet firmly on the ground, thank you!
