Attwaters’ staff stories – Adele Mann
To celebrate being named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work, we’re shining a spotlight on just some of our excellent staff members. In this edition, we speak to Adele Mann, who has been with the firm for nearly two decades. Read on to find out what makes Attwaters a Top 10 medium-sized workplace.
Meet Adele Mann
Adele joined Attwaters in January 2006 and has since held several roles across the firm. She started off working for the Practice Manager, then transitioned to a full-time position in the Accounts department. More recently, Adele was invited to help develop our case management system, support the transition to a new one and train staff in its use.
Life at Attwaters
Adele says Attwaters is a “great firm to work for” and describes the company culture as “visionary.” Her favourite part of the job is undoubtedly the people. Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities, she enjoys taking part in the company book club – “it encourages me to read books I wouldn’t usually pick up”, she says. “And I really enjoy the walking group. It gives me a reason to stop for lunch, get outside, and spend time with my colleagues.”
Be part of an award-winning workplace
Adele believes that Attwaters’ hybrid working model has helped her achieve a good work/life balance. In the Sunday Times Best Place to Work survey, our staff ranked Attwaters significantly higher than the average for law firms and global organisations when it comes to staff wellbeing.
