St Clare Hospice: Our Charity of the Year 2025

On behalf of Attwaters Jameson Hill posted on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025

We are delighted to announce that our staff have chosen St Clare Hospice as Attwaters Solicitors’ Charity of the Year for 2025.

Each year, our team nominates and votes for a charity close to their hearts, with all of our fundraising efforts across the year then dedicated to supporting their invaluable work. This year, staff voted for St Clare Hospice – a local charity that provides free, compassionate care to adults living with life-limiting illnesses, those facing the end of life, and families experiencing bereavement.

Based in Hastingwood, St Clare Hospice supports hundreds of people across West Essex and the East Hertfordshire border every year. Their team of specialist doctors, nurses, counsellors and volunteers ensure that patients and their loved ones receive the care and support they need, when they need it most.

Our Managing Partner, Sheri-Anne Mizon, commented, “We are so pleased to be supporting St Clare Hospice as our Charity of the Year for 2025. The care and compassion they provide to local people and their families at such a difficult time is truly inspiring. Our team is excited to get involved in fundraising activities throughout the year and to contribute as much as we can to help St Clare continue their vital work in our community.”

We are proud to be supporting such a vital local service and look forward to fundraising for St Clare Hospice throughout 2025. Keep an eye out for our upcoming fundraising initiatives and events – we’ll be sharing updates on our progress here on the website and across our social media channels.
